We only collect the minimum information necessary to provide you with our high-quality evergreen products and services. This includes: 

  • Contact Information: Name, email address, and phone number when you request a “free, no-obligation estimate” or schedule an appointment. 
  • Service Location: Your physical address for the purpose of assessing installation feasibility and providing site-specific quotes within our service area. 
  • Technical Data: To provide a better browsing experience, we use standard website analytics to collect anonymous data on site usage. This helps us understand how visitors interact with our pages, allows us to refine the customer journey, and ensures we are providing the most helpful information for local homeowners’/ businesses’ privacy screening needs.

Your data is used strictly for nursery operations: 

  • Providing quotes and scheduling tree selections at our farm. 
  • Coordinating professional installations via our licensed installation division, Earth Beautiful, Inc. (MHIC #116132). 
  • Managing warranties and drip irrigation advice for your Living Fence™. 
  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. However, we may share information with service providers (such as Google or Bing) who help us show you relevant ads for our nursery based on your past interest in our privacy trees. These partners are prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than providing services to Pryor’s Nursery. We do not share your name, phone number, or email address with these partners for the purpose of targeted advertising as defined by Maryland law.

3. Data Retention & Payment Security 

  • Payment Data: In accordance with our business policy, we accept check or cash only. We do not collect or store credit card information on our website or anywhere. 
  • Retention: We maintain project and installation records for the duration of your warranty and for as long as required to satisfy our standard business, tax, and accounting obligations (typically 7 years). 

4. Your Rights 

We respect your privacy and provide the following rights regarding your data: 

  • Access & Correction: You may request to see or update the contact information we have on file for your project. 
  • Deletion: You may request that we delete your personal information. Please note that we are legally required to retain certain records, including signed contracts, invoices, and payment history within our secure accounting system for tax and audit purposes for up to 7 years. These records cannot be deleted prior to the expiration of the legal retention period.
